Protect 62F Tax Cap and Rebate Law House #14
Vote Description
This was a vote on amendment #2 to H.3770, Tax Reform Package. This amendment strikes Section 10 from the bill, which added provisions to change how Chapter 62F distributes rebates. Instead of getting back a percentage you paid in, everyone would get the same amount back, changing this law into a redistribution of wealth scheme. This section also changed when the law is triggered and excludes certain tax dollars from the cap. Find a link to the bill here:https://malegislature.gov/Bills/193/H3770/BillHistory
