Vote Description
This constitutional amendment would promote fiscal responsibility by requiring 2/3 of the legislature to approve taking money out of the states reserved rainy day fund account.

MassFiscal would have voted yes on the amendment. Requiring the legislature to garner 2/3 support for use of the rainy day fund puts an extra check in place against unwise use of spending by the Massachusetts government.
