This vote is on H.86, A Proposal for a Constitutional Amendment changing MA's flat income tax to a graduated income tax, by issuing an 80% tax increase on those making over $1 million annually. This vote allows H.86 to move forward and be heard again at a Constitutional Convention next session as the last step to being put on the ballot in 2022.
