Dismiss Transparency Rules to Pass a Secret Budget Senate #443

Vote Description

This vote was to suspend the rules of the legislature (Joint Rule 11B) which states that no conference committee report shall be voted on until the day after it is released to the public. By doing this, legislators were expected to then vote on a compromise budget that was just released hours earlier.

Mass Fiscal Explanation

MassFiscal supports a no vote due to the utter neglect of transparency.
