State Borrowing Bill: Environmental Senate #441
Vote Description
This bill, H4599 is an almost $3 billion bond bill for investments such as skate parks, wading pools, and comfort stations, which adds directly to the state's debt. Currently, Massachusetts is in the bottom five states in the country for highest debt per-capita. As long as we keep borrowing money and adding to our debt without addressing the problems, we put our state in poor standing.
Mass Fiscal Explanation
MassFiscal supports a no vote due to the fiscal irresponsibility in adding to the state's debt.
