State Borrowing Bill: Housing Senate #393

Vote Description

This bill, H4536 is a $1.8 billion bond bill for housing investment in the state which adds directly to the state's debt. Currently, Massachusetts is in the bottom five states in the country for highest debt per-capita. As long as we keep borrowing money and adding to our debt without addressing the problems, we put our state in poor standing.

Mass Fiscal Explanation

MassFiscal supports a no vote due to the fiscal irresponsibility in adding to the state's debt.
