New Taxes and Regulations on Short Term Rentals Senate #351

Vote Description

This is a vote on passage of S.2381, a bill that adds new taxes and new regulations on the once free-market short term rental industry, including companies such as AirBnB, HomeAway, and VRBO. These taxes would be collected on a state level as well as the possibility for local municipalities to impose their own taxes as well, along with their own regulations.

Mass Fiscal Explanation
