Override Governor's Veto of Driver's Licenses for Illegals Senate #185
Vote Description
This was a vote to override the Governor's veto of H.4805, An Act relative to work and family mobility. This bill allows state drivers licenses for illegal immigrants with no distinction from the ones citizens have. The Governor's main concern for veto was due to the coupling of obtaining a drivers license with registering to vote in Massachusetts. Because of this, this bill could pose potential threats to election integrity. Find a link to the bill here: https://malegislature.gov/Bills/192/H4805
