Extreme Project Labor Agreements for new Holyoke Soldiers Home Senate #27
Vote Description
This was a vote on amendment #1 to S.2439, regarding An Act financing the reconstruction of the Soldiers' Home in Holyoke. This amendment would exclude roughly 83% of the construction industry in Massachusetts from participating on this project by restricting bids to fit union regulations, in turn keeping costs much higher than necessary. This amendment specifies the work, labor and contract terms for the construction of the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke.
