Vote Description
This was a vote on Amendment #42 to S.10, Proposed Senate Rules for the 2021-2022 Legislative Session. This amendment calls for at least 15 minutes review time of a redrafted amendment before a vote. Current rules call for a "reasonable amount of time." Often times amendments are redrafted with drastic changes from their original text, while debate is happening, giving senators little time to understand what their voting on.
