Unanimous Consent to go Past Midnight Senate #3
Vote Description
This was a vote on Amendment #6 to S.10, Proposed Senate Rules for the 2021-2022 Legislative Session. This amendment calls for a unanimous consent of senators to conduct their business past the hour of 12:00 a.m. Currently, the rules call for 2/3 consent. Conducting business in the early hours of the morning, out of the public eye is not good practice and should only be done in the most extreme circumstances.
