Continuing Session Past Midnight Senate #19
Vote Description
This was a vote on amendment #36 to S.14, Proposed Senate Rules for the 2025-2026 Legislative Session. This amendment requires a two-thirds recorded roll call vote in order to conduct business past midnight. This ensures a level of transparency where they need a strong majority to agree that it is appropriate to conduct business late into the evening while many are not able to watch session.
